BTS' "Life Goes On" becomes the first non-English song of all time to debut at #1 on the Hot 100.
K-pop boy band BTS', also known as Bangtan Boys’ new single "Life Goes On" debuted number 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart this week, as Billboard released this week’s Hot 100 top 10, Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
The song is the group’s third Hot 100 No. 1, in just a span of three months, after "Dynamite" and "Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat) with Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685.
"Life Goes On" is also the first Hot 100 No. 1 in the chart's 62-year history sung in different language.

The restro-inspired rock-ish album Plastic Hearts was released on Friday, November 27, 2020, four days after Cyrus’s 28th birthday.
Plastic Hearts, which peaked number one on US iTunes, few hours after release — contains 15 tracks including her previously-released singles “Midnight Sky,” which peaked number one in iTunes Philippines and UK chart, “Prisoner” Dua Lipa, and Edge of Midnight (Midnight remix) with Stevie Nicks.
